A few things about the start of the hybrid model we’re going to undertake this week. Monday starts the rotation with Cohort A in the classroom and Cohort B joining remotely. I know we went over a little about expectations, but I wanted to mention things again. Please remember:

  • When remote, you must log in to Zoom for by 7:50am or you will be marked absent.
  • For class, you must also log in at the start of class or you will be marked late. If you do not join class at all, you will be considered a class cut. If you’re unsure or have questions, contact me.
  • We will review the English Department’s expectations for learning in a Hybrid environment. However, you can download the presentation HERE.
  • We will attempt to be a paperless classroom so it is expected that you bring your laptop to class every day charged and ready to go.

For Monday’s class, we will review the expectations in more detail, look at our online resources (Google Classroom, Class Website, Turnitin, etc.)

You will also be assigned two google forms to complete. One is a contact form that lists the best way(s) for me to contact you. The other is a more laid back get to know you form. I expect you to complete those Monday night.

Finally, we are required to present two Digital Citizenship lesson in week one, so we will begin those Tue/Wed. Once complete, we’ll dive into British Lit. 12, AP Lit. 12, or Multimedia Design!
